Day 1 - 3

Darwin

The capital of Australia’s Northern Territory is blessed with a cosmopolitan mix of culture and stunning natural scenery. On one evening you will enjoy a 3-course buffet dinner whilst cruising Darwin Harbour at sunset which will showcase Darwin City in a whole new light. 

During your three night stay you’ll enjoy a tour to Litchfield National Park. Escape from the hustle & bustle of city life and spend a full day exploring the waterfalls, rainforest and rock formations in beautiful Litchfield National Park. Located an easy 2-hour drive from Darwin, Litchfield National Park encircles the Tabletop Range, known for spectacular waterfalls and swimming holes, plus sculptural cliffs, monsoon forest and historic sites. Your guide takes you to stunning waterfalls, rock pools where you can swim, and a walking path in the forest where you learn about the plants and wildlife. The Ghan Expedition Rail Journey

Following your Darwin stay, board the legendary Ghan for your four day journey through the Australian Outback.

Be whisked through a landscape resplendent with rusty red hues and South Australian plains. Enjoy stops in Katherine, where you’ll experience a cruise along the idyllic Katherine River, and in Alice Springs, you’ll visit famous landmarks and get an authentic Outback experience during a delicious Bush Barbecue. Whilst in Alice Springs you will have the opportunity to upgrade your off-train excursions to a scenic flight over Uluru. You’ll also discover the town of Coober Pedy, exploring underground towns, tunnels and churches, before the Ghan rolls into Adelaide.
