Get to grips with the Mother City herself during a full day exploration tour. Following breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up by private coach at 9.00am, as you begin your journey towards Cape Point. Drive along the wild Atlantic coast as you pass by beautiful Camps Bay all the while admiring the views of the iconic Twelve Apostles.

Wedged in a valley on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula you’ll travel to the charming fishing village of Hout Bay next, where you’ll have the chance to join an optional boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals. Further wildlife encounters await at the Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to baboons, rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland.

Returning to Cape Town, you’ll visit Boulders Beach, famed for its colony of waddling penguins; Fish Hoek fishing village; the seaside suburb of Muizenberg and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. You’ll arrive back at your hotel at approximately 5.00pm and have the rest of the evening to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 3
Cape Town - Hotel Stay and Tour

Today you’ll take your taste buds on a tour of their own at the famed Winelands regions of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Following breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up by private coach at 9.00am and will travel to Paarl. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, here you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and cellar tour at a local estate where aspiring wine connoisseurs can get to know the ins and outs of South African wine production.

Next up, the Drakenstein Valley of Franschhoek, its French influences still very much alive. You’ll have a chance to stop for lunch here, and as the self-billed gastronomic capital you’ll be spoilt for choice of places to dine, many often accompanied by idyllic views across vineyards overlooked by soaring mountains. Of course there’ll also be another wine tasting at a vineyard here.

More world-class wine awaits in Stellenbosch, the historic heart of South Africa’s wine region. Here you’ll find a historic town where streets are lined with a gracious blend of Cape Dutch, Georgian and Victorian architecture. Enjoy a final wine tasting here before returning to your hotel at approximately 5.00pm, where the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
