Days 1 - 4
Sydney to Perth - Indian Pacific

Experience the longest stretch of straight railway in the world when you step on board the Indian Pacific in Sydney. Your Gold Service Twin Cabin includes a comfortable sleeper cabin, with a private en suite and berths that convert into a three-seater couch by day. Enjoy all-inclusive food and beverages on your journey, from gourmet meals prepared in the classically styled Queen Adelaide Restaurant, to a great array of social beverages including boutique beers and fine Australian wines.

Admire the vast beauty of Australia from both inside and outside of your cabin, as your all-inclusive fare also includes off-train excursions. With stops in Broken Hill, Adelaide and Rawlinna, you’ll be fully immersed into the Australian outback culture.

Day 4
Perth - Hotel Stay

If you’ve been dreaming of wonderful weather and beautiful beaches with an easy-going atmosphere, Perth is the perfect place for you. Discover pristine parklands, relaxing river banks and countless bars and restaurants all bursting with entertainment. Enjoy a three night hotel stay as you explore everything Perth has to offer. From a tranquil breakfast by the beach, to exploring the ever-green Kings Park, your days will be filled to the brim with activities.

Day 5
Perth - Hotel Stay and Tour

Today you’ll explore the highlights of Perth and Fremantle during an explorer tour. Starting in Perth, the tour takes in all major attractions of the revitalised Perth Central Business District, including the Western Australian Cricket Ground (WACA), newly opened Elizabeth Quay and the Perth Mint.

Next you’ll travel to the sprawling Kings Park Botanical Gardens, where you will have time to experience a walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway or take in the stunning views from the war memorial back over the city skyline. Continue through to the affluent Western Suburbs of Perth, known as Millionaire’s Row before reaching Cottesloe Beach where the Indian Ocean sparkles. Finally you’ll drive to historic Fremantle viewing the impressive facades of this heritage listed city, including a brief stop to have a look around before returning to Perth.

Day 6
Perth - Hotel Stay and Tour

One fantastic Island, so many unique and diverse experiences! Located just 19km off the mainland, Rottnest Island offers endless possibilities. Explore the beauty and tranquillity of Rottnest as you sit back and relax in the comfort of an air conditioned coach. This 90 minute tour around the island takes you out to some of Rottnest’s most spectacular locations including the Wadjemup Lighthouse and the rugged West End. The tour will provide you with an insight into Rottnest’s cultural and historical heritage and diverse wildlife, including the famous quokkas. You will also have a chance to step off the coach and enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk at the majestic look-out point at West End.

Day 7
Margaret River - Hotel Stay and Tour

Leaving Perth behind, you’ll travel south from Perth driving through farmland with grazing cattle and passing by coastal towns. Arriving at Busselton, known as the gateway to the Margaret River Region you’ll stop for morning tea (own expense) at the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere that is surrounded by clear waters and white sands. Driving into the heart of the region you’ll head to one of Margaret River’s oldest breweries for a gourmet platter lunch of local produce, with complimentary beer and cider tastings.

Make sure you leave some room as a further tasting awaits at an internationally renowned winery to taste some of their best award winning wines. Next it’s on to Mammoth Cave for a guided tour through this gothic limestone cave with vast chambers dripping with stalactite formations. Continuing south, through the Boranup Forest of enormous Karri Trees, you’ll reach Augusta. Here at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, marvel at the dividing point between the Southern and Indian Oceans, a rare opportunity to view the meetings of the two Oceans. You’ll then be transferred to Margaret River to check in to your hotel.

Day 8
Margaret River - Tour and Perth Hotel Stay

Today you’ll join your Margaret River Revealed Top Drop Tour to discover why one bottle of wine costs $15 while another costs $100 and ask, is there really any difference?

After the tour it’s back to Margaret River town and after collecting your luggage from the hotel, you’ll re-join your Coach Captain for the drive back to Perth stopping for dinner along the way at beautiful Busselton. (Dinner at own expense).

Day 9
Fly Home

Enjoy breakfast this morning before flying home.
